Survey - Minor, Major and Crisis Behaviours

Teachers are about to have a staff meeting where they will be sorting behaviours into three categories. minor, major and crisis. Each category of behaviour will have a different response / consequence levels. In preparation for our meeting we are asking parents to sort these behaviours into three categories. 
Below are a list of behaviours we deal with at school. Please sort them into the three groups, minor, major or crisis. Behaviours often become a crisis when they occur regularly. You may want to add into the crisis column, those behaviours which when repeated are a crisis. 

  • ​Swearing in general
  • Swearing at an adult
  • Not wearing school uniform 
  • Dropping rubbish 
  • Late to class 
  • Calling out in class 
  • Intimidation/ gangs
  •  Lying ​
  • Other: 

​
  • Taking other children’s belongings e.g. lunch 
  • Breaking someone else's property, or school property, e.g., ruler 
  • Vandalism, e.g., writing on walls in vivid
  • Teasing someone /calling them names 
  • Fire-lighting
  • ​Disrupting others learning​
  • Riding in the school grounds
  • Excluding others from play
  • Racist comments
  • Bullying / physical hurting 
  • Non-compliance (not doing as asked)
  • ​Out of bounds
  • Sexual actions
  •  Disrespect/ defiance
  •  Leaving the school grounds 

    Sort the above behaviours into the three groups below.
