HEARTbeat 106.7FM Opening Ceremony20 September 2017
Today officially opened our Radio Station, Heartbeat 106.7FM. The ceremony was lead by a group of Year 5 students who are in the Heartbeat Team. James Daniels from The Breeze, along with Toni, unveiled our new logo which was designed by Ebony Dyson, a Year 6 student. Songs were sung, balloons let off into the airwaves and then for the first time Heartbeat 106.7FM went live! Our presenters were Zac, Brendan and Caitlin. We ended the ceremony with the song ‘Celebration’ which everyone got up and danced to. What a way to finish school for the week! A big thank you to Jan and Andrew for all the hard work behind the scenes. |

Fifty two entries were received for the HEARTbeat 106.7 FM Radio Station Logo Competition. Our school HEART values were incorporated in most designs and we were really impressed with the explanations the children wrote about their logos. Three outstanding designs were chosen along with the two winners who were Ebony and Samantha from AWA. Well done! We will now take the main ideas from these designs and give to a graphic designer to create. Below you can view all the entries. |
