Lucas is a coding superstar.  His ability to problem solve and create an abstract context show mature self-regulation skills and deep thinking.  He uses his HEART values each and every day to relate to others in a positive and kind manner.

Adair from The Little Birds in Room 5 has greatly improved his writing.  He had made a huge effort to learn all his sight words and is applying these to his reading and writing every day.

Keegan writes descriptive pieces that show flair.  His writing is engaging and entertaining.  He gives 100% in the wider community such as HEARTbeat 106FM and he is a considerate member of Dudley.  Keegan is a passionate learner who lives and learns with HEART.

Verity is a confident and independent writer.  She uses initiative when beginning a new writing task and constantly seeks feedback to improve on her writing.  Verity is a superstar member of Team Roto and has also made the most of extracurricular activities offered at Banks Ave - jump jam, choir, ukulele - you name it.  She also takes on additional responsibilities within her class with a positive attitude.

​You are a fantastic role model Verity!

Daniel from AWA has a positive attitude towards his learning.  In maths he clearly verbalises his thinking and is flexible in the way he approaches problems.  He is a real bookworm and enjoys losing himself in a book.

Alydia has blossomed as a learner.  She is a keen debater and her reading has rocketed ahead.  She now has a love of reading novels and shows more initiative every week with her learning.  Her emerging leadership and proud HEART values are fantastic to see.

Jasmine has been working very hard with her reading and writing.  She has been learning all the alphabet sounds and her sight words.  Now she is able to read much harder books and she can write more words by herself.  She is a happy learner who is showing excellence by being the best she can be.

Kiera sets high expectations for herself with all of her learning.  She asks inquisitive questions to help drive her learning and she shows a mature growth mind set for her age in taking on challenges with a 'can do' attitude.  She understands that you have to persist and show grit.
