Term 4 2017

Week 3: 1 November 2017
Joel has worked really hard with his critical thinking and is developing his ability to take risks based on his assumptions.  He is highly empathetic and supports his peers whenever there is a need.  Joel is a peer that you can rely on to be there for you.  He has an outstanding HEART.
Week 4: 8 November 2017
Caleb is a diligent and hard working class member who works hard to complete his work to a high standard.  We are proud of his good behaviour and lovely manners.

Week 5: 15 November 2017
 Aidan from Room 17 is a hard worker who has made some great progress this year.  He always gives 100% in whatever it is he is learning.  We love having you in our class Aidan.

Amelia from room 18 has developed into a hard working self-manager.  Her progress has been wonderful and she takes so much care with the presentation of her work.

Samantha from AWA is a highly motivate learner who strives to do her best.  She knows her next learning steps and is reflective.  She reaches a high standard in sport and P.E.  and shows determination to improve her already considerable skills.

Week 9: 13 December 2017
Ayla from Room 10 has worked hard all year and can be very proud of the progress she has made.  She settles into her work quickly and always strives to do her personal best.

Term 3 2017

Week 2: 2 August 2017
Sophie from Room 18 has been on fire.  She has become a workhorse and we are delighted to see how hard she is working.

AWA nominated Pippa for Hot Shot Learner this week.  Pippa is taking risks in her learning and is an example of what a reflective learner is in AWA.

Aaliyah has been working hard in story writing to add interesting details.  She takes feedback on board to help her be 'better than before'.

Brooke is well organised and highly motivated for learning.  She can talk about her successes and her next steps.  Her family is very proud of her achievements.

Liam from Room 1 loves to write.  He always has fabulous ideas to write about and enjoys sharing his stories with his friends.  When he publishes his work, it is always of a high standard with detailed illustrations.

Niko from Dudley has a willingness to help others with their learning and he is working harder to finish tasks and meet deadlines.

Chloe from Room 2 is an enthusiastic writer who always begins her stories in an interesting and creative way.  She works hard to implement any feedback given to her and this shows in the improvement in how her stories are crafted.

Xanthe has made great progress with her maths learning through hard work and determination.  We are really proud of the effort you have put in to your learning.  Your commitment is paying off.

Kai Kai is a motivated learner who tries hard in everything she does.  She has good ideas for her stories and loves to share these with the class.  She has made good progress with maths, is a talented artist and can recite funny poems.

Mikayla from AWA has used her amazing work skills to make considerable progress in maths this year.  It is wonderful to see the way that she uses her new knowledge to collaborate with others in her group to help them with their understanding of new concepts.

Mia from Dudley is a talented artist who produces artworks that everyone loves looking at.  She has a natural flair for art and gives 100% to create beautiful pieces.  We think she is a star and are very proud of her as a Dudley learner.

Jaydah in Room 17 is an awesome learner in our class.  She is zooming through hr reading levels this year and has moved up almost 10 levels.  Jaydah is suc a reliable class member.  She is kind and caring to all others in our class.

Week 5: 31 May 2017
Kainah from Room 18 is improving by the day.  His concentration and self-managing skills just keep on inmproving and I am so delighted to see his progress.

Week 6:  7 June 2017
Drae in Room 2 is working extremely hard to improve both his reading and writing.  He is displaying greater focus on his tasks to meet his learning goals and this is helping him to make some big improvements in his progress.

Week 7: 14June 2017
Damon from Room 1 has shown a huge improvement in his attitude towards his learning.  He is striving for 'excellence' by staying focused on his tasks and putting in an enormous effort to make his work 'better than before'.  Even when the learning might be tricky he keeps a positive attitude and tries his best.

Great job Damon.  Keep it up!
Week 8:  21 June 2017
Lily has shown fantastic progress in all learning areas but particularly in numeracy.  Lily has persevered when the learning and remembering of numbers was hard.  We all respect the way Lily gives of her best every day in Room 8, making each learning day, better than before.

Week 9: 28 June 2017
Lucy from Tuis enjoys all her learning activities.  She always tries her best to be better than before.  She is a thoughtful learner who takes her time, doesn't rush and produces quality work.

Sophie from Dudley embodies our HEART values through living and learning with HEART.  She sets high expectations for herself and works consistently to give a best effort.  She is an active learner who asks questions, embraces challenge and new experiences.

Casper from Room 18 has made a great start to the year.  His spelling test was a joy to mark.

Kai from AWA has embraced being a Year 6 and taking on responsibilities.  This has also transferred to thoughtful written language.  His oral contributions are continuing to show in his love for maths.

Week 6:  7 March 2017
Ella from AWA has shown great commitment and responsibility in being a student librarian at lunchtime.  She loves to read and play games to junior children when in the library.

Week 7: 15 March 2017
Hamish from Dudley is a wonderful learner who gives 100% in all challenges.  He is a clever communicator and a marvellous mathematician.

Ruby in Room 18 is becoming a wonderful self-manager during all aspects of the school day.  She is also a very responsibile milk monitor as well!

Jaime from Tuis has had a great start to the school year.  He is a happy learner who shows excellence by giving everything a go.  His confidence has grown in the pool at AquaGym and he is now floating by himself.

Week 10: 5 April 2017
Xavier from Room 7 has the respect of his clasmates for his advanced ability in mathematics and sport.  He is reliabile in the roles of student councillor and tuakana buddy.  No job is too big or too small for Xavier.
